Matthew Doyle
Matthew is a Lecturer on the Governance and Risk programmes at KCB. He brings extensive professional experience from multinational professional services firms, including roles within Big Four accounting and global law firms.
Matthew has worked on a number of start‑ups and corporate turnarounds, and has served as a Non‑Executive Chair and Director across sectors including finance, social care, housing, technology, and government.
He is also an avid adventurer, having climbed some of the tallest peaks in the world, flown as a glider pilot, and sailed offshore. This breadth of professional and personal experience gives him a distinctive perspective on strategy, risk, and decision‑making across disciplines, sectors, and jurisdictions, which he brings into the classroom to engage and challenge students.
Since 2019, he has lectured at universities in both the United Kingdom and the United States on subjects spanning strategy, governance, risk, management, and technology, and he holds an MBA from HEC Paris.
